Old photographs and voice notes will be turned into spectacular installation on Newcastle landmark

- Sentinel Reporter

Town to light up memory lane!

PEOPLE'S memories and old photos will help to create a spectacular light show on a town centre landmark.

Visitors attended two drop-in sessions in Newcastle to share their stories with writer Leo Mercer and artist Joseph Doubtfire of leo&hyde.

Now the pair will use those photographs and stories to create a unique light projection on the Guildhall as part of Newcastle Under Light on March 4. The installation will be created in collaboration with 2099 Studios.

As well as the drop-in sessions, people have been submitting voice notes for the project.
