Hanley Park 5k event raises thousands for children's charity
FAMILIES raised more than £7,500 for disabled and autistic children at a charity's 'Colour Runner' event.
A total of 169 participants completed a 5k at Hanley Park on behalf of Caudwell Children, which provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.
They ran, walked or wheeled their way around the course while being covered in environmentally-friendly paint.
It formed part of Stoke-on-Trent's centenary celebrations - marking 100 years of city status - and also commemorated Caudwell Children’s 25th anniversary.
