Should rat-run road closed 26 years ago be reopened?

City council wants your views before it makes a final decision
BLOCKED OFF: The barrier across Sherborne Close.
A ROAD used as a rat-run for traffic is under review.
Sherborne Close, in Newstead, was closed around 26 years ago.
A total of 721 people signed a petition calling for the street to be reopened last year, however residents living in the street disagree. The road is currently barricaded off to prevent it from being used as a through road.
