Scragg on target as Vale march on in cup

PORT Vale reached the second round of the FA Youth Cup thanks to a 65th-minute goal by Tom Scragg at the Pirelli Stadium, below.

It was the third season in a row that the teams had met at this stage and the first win of those three for the Vale.
Burton had a chance to open the scoring in the 12th minute when Jamal Williamson broke free but Tomasi Wara got back to concede a corner.
Just after the half hour mark a back pass resulted in Burton 'keeper Spencer Tootell kicking an air shot but he just managed to recover in time as Joe Hunter closed in.
