Rigo makes superb first City impression
The Sentinel
|September 18, 2025
MOST things seem to be working for Stoke City and Mark Robins at present.
Other than being straitjacketed by well-drilled West Brom, the Potters have enjoyed an excellent start to what is shaping up to be a promising season.
The latest win, over Birmingham City, was achieved with a minimum of fuss as Robins' side limited the big-spenders to zero shots on Viktor Johansson's goal.
Many things stood out last weekend, not least Bosun Lawal's dominance in both penalty areas.
And then there was the debut of new signing Tomas Rigo who slotted into the Stoke midfield like a hand in a glove, working hard, winning fouls and drawing praise across the board.
