BAD LUCK: Stoke striker Sam Gallagher has been dogged by injuries since he made the move to the bet365 Stadium.
STOKE City will try again to find a way to keep Sam Gallagher fit with an admission that he probably won't be used for full matches until he proves he has “a real base”.
Gallagher has been brilliant as a substitute in his last two league appearances - but the problem has been that his goals in wins over Norwich and Watford were two months apart.
The 30-year-old forward has been dogged by a series of injuries since joining from Blackburn in the summer of 2024 but, as he travels with the squad to Preston tonight (8pm), there is a fresh determination to help him play more minutes.
