Glassworks developer has gone bust
CONSTRUCTION of a 13-storey block of flats in the city centre has hit the buffers after the developer went into liquidation.
The towering 'Glassworks' development in Hanley was approved in November 2020.
It was set to contain 220 one and two-bedroom flats for rent.
Located on land between Glass Street and Hillchurch Street, the apartment block would have included access to an onsite gym, rentable community space, a communal lounge area and an outside landscaped area.
