Puss found perched on eighth-floor ledge 'doing well' in loving home
A TERRIFIED cat rescued from the eighth-floor ledge of a city tower block has a new, loving home.
Heroic members of the public saved the petrified puss after she was spotted perched precariously on the concrete structure for more than 24 hours.
Now the 14-month-old, who has been named Myrtle, is settling in well, according to her new owner.
The once thin moggy has regained her appetite and is slowly becoming acquainted to her fellow pet cats Shadow and Trixie.
James Kemp, of Trentham, said: "We've had her for nearly two weeks now and she's doing really well settling in. She's really starting to come out of her shell.
