DARREN Moore is sweating on the fitness of key players as he prepares for Port Vale's crunch game at home to Peterborough United tomorrow.
Vale are bottom of the League One table, seven points adrift of safety, and the match represents a chance to make ground on one of their rivals.
But they might have to do it without important players and in his pre-match press conference, the Valiants boss said there are doubts over George Byers, Dajaune Brown and Kyle John while Funso Ojo is definitely ruled out with an ankle injury.
"Funso sustained a really nasty injury so he is out," confirmed Moore. "He is with the medical team after sustaining that injury.
"The other three in the game in terms of George Byers, Dajaune Brown and Kyle John, all those three are 50-50 with regards to the weekend.
"So we still give them every opportunity to stake a claim."
