Drink-driver more than 3 times limit crashed car on day of friend's funeral after spending previous night boozing

GRIEVING Mark Talbot crashed his car when more than three times over the drink-drive limit.

The 53-year-old electrician had been drinking the night before he drove into the back of a vehicle in Stone - which catapulted it into another car.

Police arrived and the defendant failed a roadside breath test. He was taken to custody where he was breathalysed and found to be more than three times over the legal limit.

Now Talbot has been banned from the roads and hit with a £2,417 court bill at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
