Royal Stoke nurse goes back to India to give talk and inspire next generation
A SENIOR staff nurse at the Royal Stoke has returned to his former college in India to talk about his career and highlight the opportunities available for international nurses in the NHS.
Hashim Asad, who works as a senior clinical staff nurse on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), was invited as a guest speaker at the International Conference on Globalisation in Nursing.
Hashim's session was called 'Gateway to Dream Destination in Nursing,' which gave an insight into UK nursing careers and the professional development support available at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM).
