Site meeting as part of A500 campaign sparked by accidents and near-misses
MP ADAM Jogee has stepped up his campaign for safety improvements on an A500 slip road during a site meeting at the location.
The Newcastle MP brought together representatives from National Highways, Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Police, Audley Parish Council and the office of Sarah Russell MP - Member of Parliament for Congleton - on site at the Audley A500 slip road .
The meeting gave the chance for those attending to look directly at the issues and discuss the actions under way to make the junction safer.
The visit follows ongoing concerns from residents and pressure from the MP to ensure that the agencies responsible take meaningful steps to reduce the risk.
