HEM Heath thirds were in superb form to power past Knypersley seconds in NSSCL Division Four.
-
The destination of the points was all but settled by the halfway point after hosts Hem Heath piled up 295 all out.
Wasim Khan fronted the batting blitz with a quickfire century to put Knypersley’s attack to the sword.
Khan hit 16 fours and three sixes in his 59-ball 101 to put Hem Heath firmly in the driving seat.
Dan Robinson was no slouch, either, making 60 off just 34 balls. His innings contained seven fours and three maximums.
Shailesh Khune (40) and Oscar Bradshaw (28) also made useful contributions to the hosts’ cause.
Lee Fallows captured 4-57 for Knype, with Jordan Corkin and Dan Hancock sharing four wickets.
Toby Hollingsworth replied with 30, with Hancock chipping in with 28.
However, Knypersley were skittled for just 84 to earn Hem Heath a resounding victory.
Dean Hodson and Khune helped themselves to 4-13 and 4-21 respectively.
Rutang Patel was in sparkling form for Burslem seconds in their home success against Stafford 2nd XI.
