New recruit Cisse can offer added dimension to Potters' attack options in the Championship

- Peter Smith

JON Walters is sure Lamine Cisse can bring something different to the Stoke City attack as the newly-fit summer signing finds his feet in the Championship.

Cisse, pictured, joined Stoke from Bastia in August while recovering from a minor shoulder injury and has had to be patient until he got the green light to get going at his new club.

But the 22-year-old has made cameos in the last two games and is now preparing to be part of the squad for Saturday's home match against Norwich, when Sam Gallagher is also hoping to be involved for the first time this season.

Sporting director Walters said: "I think I've said it from day one, this club has always had direct wingers who like to attack and I think the Championship demands that you have competition in places right across.
