Brehaut: Blues are ready to attack tough Trophy clash

Josh Brehaut takes the Leek Town side to Halesowen in the FA Trophy this weekend.

This Saturday's clash pits Brehaut's Northern Premier League Premier Division side against Southern League Premier Central opposition.

An away tie will always be more difficult and Brehaut knows the challenge Russ Penn’s men pose.

t's a very difficult tie and I went and watched them after the draw,’ said Brehaut. “I knew a little bit about them. I have been in touch in the past with their manager who is a really good football guy.

“They play a very attractive brand of football. They've got a carpet of a pitch and they really use it well.

“They get a good crowd who are very loud and who really get behind their team. It's another really difficult game. We've been very unfortunate T suppose the way the draws have fallen for us this year. The calibre of teams we played.

“Harborough [Leek’s FA Cup victors] beat Peterborough Sports 4-1 from the league above who have obviously got Phil Brown as their manager.
