Boss Moore feels slight frustration at Luton draw

VALE can take heart from an improved league performance despite having to settle for a 2-2 draw at Luton.

ALL SQUARE: Port Vale shared the points with Luton on Saturday.

They were up against it when Cohen Bramall curled home a free-kick on 26 minutes but Ben Waine headed home three minutes before the break with his third goal in three games.

Devante Cole scored from close range on 54 minutes and Vale threatened to take the game away from Luton with a third. Instead, poor defending from a corner allowed Mads Anderson to head home unmarked 20 minutes from time.

Vale stay bottom of the table but with the belief they can pick up points if they play like this, starting with next Saturday’s home game against Peterborough.
