Royal Stoke declares 'critical incident'

A CRITICAL incident has been declared at Stoke-on-Trent’s main hospital.
The Royal Stoke University Hospital has been under ‘severe and sustained pressure’ for the past week.
That demand further increased over the weekend.
Now the Royal Stoke is urging patients to only use A&E in a ‘serious or life-threatening emergency’ and for relatives to be ready on time to collect their discharged loved-ones.
