70 new homes set for former hospital

Go-ahead despite eight objections
A 70-HOME estate is set to be built on a former hospital site after city planners gave the scheme the go-ahead.
The former central outpatients department on Thornburrow Drive will finally be developed following a 10-year delay.
It comes after 200 homes were also approved on the former Royal Infirmary site nearby, as reported by The Sentinel yesterday, above.
