Rath Yatra voluntary camps symbolise unity and selfless service: Odisha Guv

DISHA Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati on Thursday lauded the voluntary service camps set up during the annual Rath Yatra, calling them a testament to the enduring spirit of selfless service, national integration, and unity in diversity.
Inaugurating the service camps of St. John Ambulance, Bharat Scouts and Guides, and the Indian Red Cross Society at Puri ahead of the world-renowned festival, the Governor said these efforts reflect the deep compassion and civic commitment that define India's cultural ethos.
"These camps have a long and distinguished tradition of service during Rath Yatra. Truly, service to humanity is service to God," Dr. Kambhampati said, addressing a gathering of volunteers and dignitaries.
