CM Majhi announces three integrated AYUSH hospitals in Odisha to boost holistic healthcare

“THE government of Odisha is committed to strengthening holistic healthcare, and as part of this commitment, we will establish three new integrated AYUSH hospitals in Dhenkanal, Berhampur, and Balasore,” Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced on Wednesday.
Addressing the annual function of the Students’ Union at Dr. Abhinna Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in Bhubaneswar as the chief guest, Chief Minister Majhi emphasized the government's focus on expanding traditional and alternative medical infrastructure across the state.
In a move aimed at enhancing medical education and research, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for a new Emergency Unit at the college and announced the creation of a dedicated Homoeopathic Research & Analysis Department. These initiatives are expected to elevate Odisha’s standing in the field of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) healthcare.
