UGEP targets up to 700 MW of solar projects by 2028

Solar energy solutions provider Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) is embarking on an aggressive target of installing up to 700 megawatts (MW) of solar projects by 2028.
The company, which is among the key players in the country's commercial and industrial solar sectors, said its growth plan includes both utility-scale and commercial and industrial solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
"We are very bullish on the growth of solar in the country.
UGEP creates efficient and sustainable power solutions for its clients.
We are backed by the strong experience of our shareholders and management team," UGEP president and CEO Ruth Yu-Owen said.
