The House of Representatives ended the 19th Congress with its highest trust rating in recent memory, even as it tackled one of the most polarizing issues in years — the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.
Lanao del Sur 1st district Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong said it may be the first time since the post-EDSA era that a House speaker — in the person of Leyte 1st district Rep. Martin Romualdez — retained and even expanded public confidence during a politically volatile time without engaging in verbal combat.
