The Philippines is urging Chinese firms to invest and make the country its hub for services in Asia.
During the Philippine country forum and opening of the Philippine pavilion at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing, Philippine Ambassador to China Jaime FlorCruz pitched the Philippines as an ideal destination for Chinese investors, innovators and entrepreneurs’ future investments.
“The Philippines is a highly resilient, globally competitive hub for services in Asia,” FlorCruz said.
"We are open for business and we welcome China, our largest trading partner, to partner with us in high-growth services and industries," he added.
