Dinagyang Festival: 10-day gun ban set

ILOILO CITY - A gun ban will be enforced in this city for 10 days in connection with the celebration of the Dinagyang Festival.

The suspension of permits to transport and carry firearms outside of residence will be implemented starting tomorrow until Jan. 29.

City police chief Col. Joeresty Coronica said the gun ban is provided under a memorandum issued by Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen.

Benjamin Acorda on Tuesday.
