Calabarzon minimum wage earners get pay hike

Minimum wage earners in Calabarzon will receive a higher take-home pay starting next month after the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) increased their daily wage rate from P25 to P100.

The Department of Labor and Employment said the RTWPB-Calabarzon issued a new wage order increasing the daily minimum wage of workers in the agriculture and non-agriculture sectors as well as in retail and service establishments employing not more than 10 people.

The wage order will be implemented in two tranches this coming Oct. 5 and on April 1, 2026.
