Buses to keep exclusive lane along EDSA
The Philippine Star
|March 06, 2025
Buses will keep their exclusive lane on EDSA while the P7.3-billion rehabilitation of Metro Manila's busiest highway is in progress, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) assured commuters yesterday.
"It will continue, but it is not going to be the same operation while the rehabilitation is ongoing," Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon told The STAR.
Dizon said the DOTr is working with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) "to make sure the disruption to commuter experience is mitigated by traffic management interventions."
He said the DPWH repair work would cover EDSA's inner lane, which is next to the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) route.
