A large majority of Filipinos remain dissatisfied with the Marcos administration’s efforts to fight graft and corruption in the government.

- By JANVIC MATEO

A Sept. 27 to 30 survey conducted by Pulse Asia showed that 69 percent of respondents disapproved of the way the government handles issues related to graft and corruption.

It went up 19 points from a similar survey conducted in June, where 50 percent said they disapproved of the government's handling of corruption issues.

The latest survey, conducted as the government scrambles to investigate alleged corruption schemes in infrastructure projects, found that only 17 percent of the respondents approved of the government's actions in terms of corruption.

It went down by 11 points from 28 percent in June.

The remaining 15 percent were undecided, down from 21 percent in the previous survey.
