I keep hitting a brick wall with a misdirected payment of £2,000 that I made online.
Last summer I had a significant payment coming up for which I wanted to use my John Lewis credit card, so I decided to make a single payment of £2,000 to the card to avoid the risk that my credit limit might be exceeded. I paid online from my NatWest current account, and, as I only had one payee saved as John Lewis Financial Services, it seemed straightforward.
