Workshop organized for Registrars, Sub-Registrars of Jammu Province

The Department of Registration, Jammu & Kashmir organized a one-day workshop today here at the Convention Centre for Registrars, Sub-Registrars and supporting staff from across the Jammu Province.
Inspector General of Registration, J&K Dr. Bashir Ahmed Bhat was the Chief Guest.The programme was designed to refresh professional knowledge, familiarize officers with recent legal developments, procedural clarifications and best practices besides providing a platform for sharing practical field-level experiences.
The workshop which was attended by about 60 officials, including Registrars ,Sub Registrars, Tehsildars, State Taxes Officer and others. The sessions focused on registration of documents, stamp duty, paperless registration, digital processes and allied revenue laws, highlighting the importance of accuracy, transparency and citizen-centric service delivery.
Additional Inspector General of Registration Jammu, Pankaj Gupta welcomed the participants and underscored the significance of continuous skill upgradation and legal orientation for registration personnel.
