Restrictions u/s 163 imposed in Budgam ahead of By-Elections

Authorities in Budgam on Sunday imposed restrictions under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) in view of the upcoming by-elections for the 27-Budgam Assembly Constituency scheduled on November 11.
According to an order issued by District Magistrate Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat (IAS), the restrictions will remain in force from 6:00 PM on November 9 to 6:00 PM on November 11, coinciding with the 48-hour silence period mandated before polling.
