Rajouri Adm scales up preparedness for monsoon season

View of the ongoing monsoon season and the advisory of inclement weather, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma today chaired a meeting in his office chamber to review the preparedness of the district administration for any eventualities arising due to heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides.

To ensure public safety, the Deputy Commissioner directed that no movement shall be allowed towards picnic spots such as waterfalls, rivers, nallahs, and other water bodies during this period. He further instructed that necessary steps be taken to shift people residing near vulnerable water bodies to safer locations to prevent any loss of life or property.
