LEAD convenes meeting to address regional tourism industry concerns

In a bid to tackle the deepening tourism and economic crisis in Jammu province, the LJK Economic Growth and Development Dialogue (LEAD) convened a high level hybrid meeting bringing together stakeholders across hospitality, trade, and tourism sectors. The session was chaired by LEAD Senior Board Member Harinder Gupta and convened by Board Member Rajesh Gupta.
Participants from over 20 prominent associations—including hoteliers, tour operators, traders, and handloom artisans—voiced serious concerns over the fallout from the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which they say has unfairly tarnished Jammu's image, despite the region remaining peaceful and safe.
