Congress holds dharna over MGNREGA, Statehood Rights

The Congress Party on Monday staged a sit-in dharna at the JKPCC headquarters in Shaheedi Chowk here as part of the “MGNREGA Bachao” and “Humari Riyasat, Humara Haq” campaigns, alleging erosion of employment guarantees and democratic rights in Jammu and Kashmir.

Congress holds dharna over MGNREGA, Statehood Rights

The protest was organised on the directions of the AICC and JKPCC leadership and led by former minister and DCC Jammu Urban president Yogesh Sawhney, former AICC secretary and DCC Jammu Rural president Neeraj Kundan, and presided over by JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla. Congress leaders and workers from Jammu Urban and Rural units participated.
