Cong unnecessarily targeting the External Affairs Minister: Brig Gupta

Taking strong exception to the Congress Party's allegations against External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar over alleged advance disclosure of Operation Sindoor to Pakistan, Brig Anil Gupta, BJP spokesperson and strategic analyst, dismissed the claims as baseless, mischievous, and politically motivated.
Brig Gupta clarified that informing an adversary post-operation to prevent escalation is an established international protocol, citing examples like the Balakot airstrikes and the U.S. raid on Osama Bin Laden. “There is a clear distinction between ‘in the wake of’ and ‘prior information’ as being falsely portrayed by Congress,” he asserted.
