Billawaria warns Power Department over worsening power crisis

Former Deputy Mayor of Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, expressed serious concern over the ongoing power crisis in Jammu today. Highlighting the severe summer heat and its adverse impact on the public, Billawaria issued a strong warning to the Power Development Department (PDD) regarding the mismanagement and failure to provide uninterrupted electricity supply.
He pointed out that several areas, including Bishnah, Gangyal, Digiana, Kunjwani, and nearby localities, are facing prolonged and frequent power cuts, with outages lasting up to 16 to 18 hours daily. "These power cuts are severely affecting senior citizens, children, and patients, who are unable to cope with the ongoing heatwave conditions," he said.
