'One nation, one election' gets Nitish backing, CM says beneficial for growth

BIHAR chief minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) lent its support to its ally BJP's 'one nation, one election' plan.
JD(U), in a statement issued on Monday, highlighted the benefits of 'one nation, one election' policy of BJP and said that it was beneficial for the nation's all-round development.
JD(U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that frequent elections created hurdles in the progress of the country as a huge amount of public money is spent on conducting elections.
