PREPARING the ground for a strong pushback against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Tamil Nadu, DMK chief and Chief Minister MK Stalin and his alliance partners invited leaders across the political spectrum to attend an all-party meeting in Chennai on November 2 to discuss the modalities to stop the exercise.
"The BJP government is instigating the Election Commission of India to carry out this antidemocratic activity," they said in a joint statement.
