Love in action: The heart of Sai Baba's mission of service

VENKAT and Deepa Rani of Addanki village in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, walked out of the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital in May 2009, joyfully holding their newborn, Sai Teja.

However, they rushed back to the hospital a few days later when the infant suffered from septicaemia. The child was treated and also underwent a critical and urgent surgery, completely free of cost, at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram. "We had seen the Super Speciality Hospital many times from outside, and it looked just like a temple. Today, after having stayed here, I truly believe this is not a hospital but a temple," said Deepa.

Venkat and Deepa are among the lakhs of people who have benefited from the social, educational, and healthcare projects of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
