First flight from India to China takes off after over 5 years' gap amid thaw

The A320 neo aircraft, which had a good occupancy, departed for Guangzhou in Southern China at 10 pm. This marks the resumption of flights between the two nations after services were stopped in early 2020 due to Covid-19. An airline executive told this reporter, “The passenger occupancy is almost full in the flight which has a seating capacity of 186. The flight has a total journey time of four-and-a-half hours. It will reach Guangzhou at 4.30 am (China time). It is a daily service.”
