Eaton signs MoU to set up global R&D centre at Sholinganallur

EATON, a Fortune 500 company specialising in power management solutions, will set up a research and development and global application centre on a ₹l lakh sq.ft plot in Sholinganallur at an investment of ₹200 crore.

An MoU in this regard was signed between Eaton and Guidance Tamil Nadu in Chicago on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Minister M K Stalin, who is on a fortnightlong visit to the US along with Industries Minister TRB Rajaa. Later in the day, Stalin posted on X that the investment would generate 500 jobs.
