DKS dismisses reports of his claims of becoming CM, says not in a rush

KARNATAKA Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday stated that he is in no rush to occupy the chief minister's post, and that his statements are being twisted.

Speaking to the public at Lalbagh Botanical Garden at the 'Walk With Bengaluru Citizen' initiative to address people's concerns and deliver good civic administration, Shivakumar said, "I am not in a hurry to occupy the CM's chair. I am in politics to serve the people and not to do politics. I am working day in and day out to serve the people." Shivakumar, who looked upset about media reports making claims of his statement, time is nearing for him to become the chief minister, asked for proof that he had made such a remark.
