Tiger Triumph 2025 Joint Training in Vizag Concludes

The Indian and United States armed forces have completed the harbor phase of Exercise Tiger Triumph 2025 in Visakhapatnam.

This tri-service exercise, focused on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), including physical conditioning, jungle warfare drills, small arms practice, and integrated field craft modules.

Indian troops from the 8 Gorkha Infantry Battalion Group of the Amphibious Brigade under the Sudarshan Chakra Corps trained alongside the US Army's 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment (Bobcats) of the 11th Airborne Division and the US Marine Corps' 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion.

At the Duvvada Firing Range, personnel carried out combat training exercises including buddy pair firing, jungle lane shooting and close-quarter battle drills. Fieldcraft exercises covered tactical movement and navigation through obstacles. A separate combat medical module provided practical first aid and casualty evacuation training.
