MAHARASHTRA Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday warned that strict actions will be taken against those who violate norms related to loudspeakers at the places of worship.
MAHARASHTRA Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday warned that strict actions will be taken against those who violate norms related to loudspeakers at the places of worship. He said the local police inspectors have been entrusted with the responsibility of executing the order. If they fail in discharging their duty, action would be taken against them as well.
While addressing the state Assembly, Fadnavis said that as per the Supreme Court guidelines, it is mandatory to obtain the permission from the competent authority of state government before installing and using the loudspeakers at any places of worship.
