The district monthly average of road accidents in 2025 stands at 42, while it was 45.1 in 2024 and 45.9 in 2023
A series of proactive and strategic initiatives employed by the Nandyal Police Department are yielding significant success in reducing road accidents and fatalities. According to officials, from January to May 2025, only 210 road accidents were reported in Nandyal district, a sharp drop compared to 542 accidents in 2024 and 551 in 2023. As per the data, the monthly average in 2025 stands at 42 accidents, while it is 45.1 in 2024 and 45.9 in 2023.
This year, 105 deaths and 250 injuries have been reported, significantly lower than the 271 deaths and 644 injuries in 2024 and the 294 deaths and 648 injuries in 2023.
