ACTOR-turned-politician Vijay's maiden political rally in Tiruchy on Saturday drew a huge crowd, which left public property damaged.
TAMIL Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi questioned why TVK's Vijay, while campaigning in Tiruchy, did not raise the Union government's non-release of ₹2,151 crore funds under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme. Speaking on Vijay's massive rally in Tiruchy on Saturday, the minister said, "Vijay lacks planning. Even his mic went off mid-speech."
