Revenue Official Held for Accepting ₹10k Bribe

The DVAC sleuths on Thursday arrested a staff at Ponmalai zonal office under Tiruchy City Corporation for accepting ₹10,000 bribe to fix a vacant land tax for a plot.
The suspect was identified as J Sebastian (56), who works as a revenue assistant and as a bill collector at the Ponmalai zonal office. Police sources said R Srinivasan (51), a resident of Indira Gandhi street in KK Nagar, approached the zonal office to asses
