Long queues of jobless youth at camps to dole out Didi sops

THOUSANDS of unemployed youths have been lining up at camps to register their names under ‘Banglar Yuva Sathi’ scheme, launched by the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal for a monthly aid of %1,500, reflecting the gravity of the unemployment crisis.
The camps, which have been open in all 294 Assembly constituencies in Bengal since Sunday, will also accept new applications for other welfare schemes of the state government for women and farmers.
