Turf 'challenge' for Blasters ahead of Monday's match against Odisha

THE Kerala Blasters FC has raised concerns over the 'damaged' turf at the Jawaharlal Nehru International (JLN) Stadium, ahead of its fixture with Odisha FC on Monday.
"The pitch was one of the top playing surfaces in the country. The poor quality of the pitch came to our notice during the inspections conducted ahead of the ISL match scheduled for Monday," an official statement from Kerala Blasters FC said.
The stadium, which is managed by GCDA and home to Kerala Blasters, had recently hosted the controversial Guinness Record Bharatanatyam event in which 12,000 dancers participated.
