The Centre has appointed noted educationist and author Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, from Andhra Pradesh, as a member of the reconstituted Joint Hindi Advisory Committee under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
The committee is chaired by the Union Finance Minister, with the Minister of State for Finance serving as Vice-Chairperson. Its primary objective is to promote the use of Hindi
