THE investigation into the Pune murder case has revealed that 20-year-old Siya Goyal and her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary thoughtfully chose the Lohagad Fort location to eliminate 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal on June 18.
According to the police, Goyal and Chaudhary met at a cafe in Pune for several hours, where they allegedly discussed the plan to eliminate Agarwal at the Lohagad Fort, which is located about 75 kilometres north-west of Pune. During this meeting, Goyal and Chaudhary chose a strategic location at the fort on the edge of a deep gorge. The fort is located at a height of 3,389 feet and is a popular trekking destination. The gorge is 400-foot deep and notoriously known as the “dead point” or “ghost point”.
